Francois- Marie Arouet,
or known as Voltaire. He was one of many philosophers in his time. Voltaire
came from a middle class family then when he passed away he was a millionaire
with his books and his past. He was the
greatest because he believed in for what was right and tried to make it happen.
He did not believe in democracy. He had a bad past but he fought for what he
thought was right. Francois- Marie Arouet thought that everyone should be
treated equally, even women, it shouldn’t matter what class they are in.
Voltaire is the best philosopher because he stood up to what he believed in and
did not change his mind and he thought that everyone, even women should be
treated right within a society.
Equality before law that was really the only law he really believed in. He wanted women to be treated equally everywhere. Voltaire did not believe that a servant could be equal to a master because a servant did not have as much power and a master does. His belief in justice was that working to create an orderly society that was rewarded work and intelligence, it does not matter what class that they are in. Everyone should be treated equally, and that it should not matter what class that they are in. Voltaire wanted people to tell people what he thought was right and he was not afraid to tell anyone even if it was about them.
Voltaire was one of the many philosophers during this time period, but he is my favourite because he wanted everyone to be treated equally and no one left out or anything. He fought for everyone’s rights, even women’s. He thought that we, as humans are not capable of governing ourselves. Voltaire was not a great believer in democracy. He was put in jail for 11 months from his smart remarks. He had a “sharp tongue” when it came to government. He said something about the government and people came and beat him up. People who were most worthy of admiration were those who used knowledge and reason to improve humanity. He fought against in justice for when he was in jail. The best hope society was an enlightened monarch who was educated and believed in justice and reason. He did not believe that anyone could become a monarch, because he had to be enlightened and fight foe justice in society. Voltaire wanted to push women’s rights, so that there was none. Voltaire wanted to lift the laws towards women in a way. He wanted them as women to be treated equally.
Voltaire had great views on society and government. He made so much out of his life, he didn’t have a lot when he was born, and when he died he died a millionaire. He believed that society had to have a leader because we were not capable in governing ourselves. We need and enlightened monarch to help society run smoothly. Voltaire stuck up for what he believed in. He made so much out of his life and he became a well-known philosopher. He wanted everyone to be the same, even if they are not in the same class as you, everyone should be the same. He is my favourite because I want people to feel like they are equal even if they are different, everyone should be treated equally. It should not matter what makes them different, they should be thought of as the same as everyone else in the world. Voltaire was the best because he wanted people to be the same and no one was different, that we were all the same.

Voltaire lived in
France. He was born in a middle-class family; he was born in 1694-1778. Voltaire was well educated but was not rich or
poor. He made his money by entertaining kings and the queens, which he died
later as a millionaire. Wrote 70 or more books dedicated to him/his
credit. He made a lot out of his life,
going from a middle class person to dying a millionaire. He was very successful
in his life; he was good at making money also. Voltaire is the best because he
had good views on society and government and he was not shy or afraid of telling
people the truth about anything. Voltaire did not believe in democracy at all.
