Napoleon- Eric

Napoleon Bonaparte was one of the greatest leaders of all time. He conquered most of Europe during his time as a leader. In conquering Europe Napoleon was trying to protect his people. All of his opponents were threats to France. Also, Napoleon created the best form of law that France had seen. It was called the Napoleonic Code. It created equality under the law for all men. As well it removed serfdom from society. The government run schools (lycées) that Napoleon created helped to extreme patriotism. Napoleon was the main reason for France?s success. By: Eric Hawkins
